Getting started with Arduino

Hi everyone, I would like to share the tutorial for the Arduino UNO. Arduino UNO is a microcontroller based on the Atmega328p. It equipped with 14 pin digital I/O ports (0-13), 6 analog inputs (A0-A5), UART Serial Communication, and other typical microcontroller functions.

Installation

  • Goto https://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/HomePage
  • Choose your Operating System.

  • Proceed with installation once the download completed.


 Hello world

  • Connect USB-B to Arduino UNO and the other end connect to laptop/PC.
  • Launch Arduino IDE.

Detect the Arduino Uno
  • Tools >> Port >> COMX (Arduino).
  • X depends on port number.


Try to upload

  • Sketch >> Upload
  • If everything is ok, “Done uploading” will appear at bottom.

Done.
